FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 22, 2020) − TWO39 WORK continues to support the SWFL community and Florida Gulf Coast University. Through this support, TWO39 WORK has connected with Florida Gulf Coast University and its Art and Entrepreneurship student, Taylor Thompson, to create a mural in its co-working space. The mural celebrates the upcoming launch of TWO39 LABS, an accelerator program for entrepreneurs and startups.

“TWO39 truly wants to offer and expand opportunities to students at Florida Gulf Coast University. As a former student myself, I know how important it is to work with real-world clients in real-world situations. By reaching out to students from FGCU and offering them these experiences, not only do they have the opportunity to capitalize on their skill sets, but add to their resumes and portfolios. ” said Sorena Vargas, TWO39 Graphic Designer and recent Florida Gulf Coast University Alumna.

Taylor Thompson is currently in her last year at Florida Gulf Coast University. Thompson is majoring in Art and minoring in Entrepreneurship. “I was thrilled to gain this experience in creating a mural at TWO39 WORK for the launch of TWO39 LABS. As an Art major and Entrepreneurship minor, I am constantly looking for opportunities for real world experiences with my art to add to my portfolio and resume. I am so thankful that recent alum from FGCU are still in the area after graduation to offer opportunities like this to current students. It is amazing that I have work that can be seen by an even broader audience in the SWFL community,” said Thompson.

ABOUT THE MURAL: Thompson stated, “I wanted to highlight the main mission of TWO39 WORK and TWO39 LABS: community. I made sure to use TWO39’s brand colors. I also included multiple versions of triangles in the mural to replicate their logo and its underlying meaning of the three points of their brand; people, process, and product. The mural also includes silhouettes of people representing the coworking space, gears representing productivity and acceleration. I also added Florida themed elements to represent Southwest Florida. I truly think it encompasses the co-working space and the launch of TWO39 LABS. I hope to work with this amazing company in the future!”

The mission of TWO39 LABS is to provide startup companies and entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to accelerate growth and build successful companies. In turn, these companies will bring and retain economic opportunity, innovation, technology, and investment to Southwest Florida. To learn more about TWO39 LABS, please visit www.two39labs.com.
