Located only 10 minutes away from our space is Florida Gulf Coast University- one of Florida’s youngest and thriving public universities.
Founded in 1991, Florida Gulf Coast University has already grown into a major catalyst for Southwest Florida’s economic and social development.
In the 2019-2020 academic year alone, over 15,000 students were enrolled in courses on the campus.
TWO39 has partnered with one of FGCU’s newest bachelor programs.
The Digital Media Design program was founded in the Fall semester of 2019 and led by Professor Mike Salmond, an Associate Professor, Program Coordinator for the Digital Media Design, and an Entrepreneurship Faculty Fellow at Florida Gulf Coast University.
We are always looking for new art to display in our work space.
In our partnership, we decided to formulate a contest for the Summer A Graphic Design 2 course. Students were responsible for creating inspirational quote posters for the contest.
After the top four of the (28) designs were picked, the contest was left entirely up to the TWO39 WORK community members to decide their favorite.
After all, the space is theirs 5 out of the 7 days of the week.
After a week-long vote, members chose their favorite from the four designs in an online survey. The results are in!
